Welcome to the Otaku Knights, Newport's Anime Club. Leading the way in the anime crusade!

Sampling screening!

This week, the results of everyone's votes indicate that people would prefer to sample new series every meeting.

To put it concretely, last year we stuck to D.Gray-man and Kekkaishi and showed an episode each every meeting for an entire year. This year, we're picking the best episodes from one or two series every meeting and we show them. Then we'd shift to another one or two series next meeting, so we never show the same series twice.

People interested in further watching a series they particularly like can contact officers to obtain the series so that they can watch it at home.

(We have, as of now, officially shown Kaiji, Genshiken, and Dennō Coil.)

T-Shirts!

Just a reminder: T-shirt submissions should be made by 4/17, in the following format:

  • 8.5"x11" maximum size
  • 1, 2, or 3 color option
  • Should include club name and year
  • JPG/GIF/BMP files are acceptable; you may also give me a hard copy if you don't have access to a scanner

Send final submissions to:
falore@gmail.com

ALSO! Club gaming day to be held this Friday (3/21) at Newport Way Library from 3:30 - 5:30 PM. Getting there's pretty easy, just take the 222 bus from Newport for 5 minutes and you'll get there.
