Otaku Knights is Newport High School's very own anime club, where fans of anime (Japanese animation) gather to discuss, debate and enjoy this cultural phenomenon. We work towards promoting the appreciation of anime as an art form and as a means of discovering new aspects of other cultures. Founded in 2004, NHS' anime club began to develop its identity as the "Otaku Knights" in recent years, and such a title has continued to this day.
The Otaku Knights engage in a variety of activities throughout the year, the main event being Sakura-Con, the Northwest's largest anime convention. This year, aside from anime watching, we hope to expand our endeavors to cosplay, artbooks, AMV's, gaming, and more!
Location/Time of Meetings:
We meet in RM 2122 @ 3:10PM on Mondays.
